These were the opening words of God calls to Jeremiah to bring His message to Israelites. It was also the opening of Jeremiah's mission as he responded to God's call. I specially choose this message because it somehow helps me to be aware of my vocation. Through this message, God calls Jeremiah when he was very young, but God knew that Jeremiah was a man of profound religious faith. Although Jeremiah hesitated at first, he knew that God was always with him in order to protect him. Therefore, Jeremiah completely put his trust in God.
             Whenever I read this message, I remember the time that I left my family to go to College. At that time, I was afraid because it was the first time in my life to leave family behind and come to a new place where every thing was extremely strange to me. I felt I was just like a fish out of water. I hesitated at first, but I always heard my father whispered on my ear, "my dear son, to be faithful and do not be afraid. Although you are far from me, my image is always beside you by praying for you every day." From that time on, I had strong faith in God because I believed that God heard my father prayers and He would protect me. I completely put my trust in God.
             Today, when I look back on my first days at College, I can see that my life has changed a lot. One of reasons that make me to have stronger faith in my vocation was because I reflected from the book of Jeremiah who was a young prophet. By reflecting on the message above, I believe God also chooses me to be a prophet. God wants me to bring His message to people who are unfaithful in God. With my faith is strengthen by Jeremiah's life, I will obedience God like Jeremiah responded God's call; so I will say out loud, "Yes, I will do your will Lord." because I completely put my trust in God.
