Over the years, as I developed from being a kid into the person I am today, I have learned that you need more then just intelligence to succeed in life- you also need to have a will to succeed. In my life, there have been tears, anger and happiness, but I always keep going because I know I must. If it were not for my mother and my strong will to succeed, I wouldn't be where I am today. Without the obstacles in life, there would be nothing to learn from. We are put on this earth to overcome obstacles and to try to succeed even when it looks impossible. That weight will be on my shoulders one day, but I know I am prepared to overcome it in the future.
             I believe in and do follow certain rules and knowledge past down from generation to generation. I must show character through trust, respect, responsibility, fairness, caring and citizenship. I must take the strengths of my loved ones and improve on my weaknesses. I am honest and do not deceive, cheat or steal. I am reliable and I have the courage to do the right thing. I have built a good reputation and have loyal and loving standings by my friends and family. I treat others with respect; I must give respect before I demand it. I am tolerate of differences and use good manners. Be kind, compassionate, and show consideration for the feelings of others. I will not threaten or hurt anyone; I deal peacefully with anger, insults and disagreements. I always do my best and do what I am supposed to do. I practice self-control and self discipline. I consider consequences before acting and know that I am accountable. I must continue to learn and grow through my entire life. I express gratitude, forgive others, and help people in need. I do my share to make my school and community better. My personality is well-rounded and I believe in staying positive and up-tempo.
