We live in a country that is commonly referred to as a "melting pot." Our country is referred to this because of the vast diversity of races in our country. As America grows and society grows, we have come to accept the different races willingly. Although the general population has accepted the racial diversity, there are still some people among us that have not and never will. These people belong to what is called, " white supremacist groups." Groups such as the Klu Klux Klan are very well organized and have hundreds of thousands of members world wide. They hold a belief that the "pure blooded" white race is superior to all others and they think that any other race should fail to exist. With the racial diversity in America growing every day there is the ever present fear that these groups will reunite and avenge their beliefs. In Abby L.
