The issue of church vs. state has literally been around since the United States was formed. The Constitution of the United States directly deals with the issue by the phrase: Freedom of religion. No state, or government, will have any connection with the church. By the same token, the individual is entitled to the freedom of worshiping anything he or she wants to. Religion should not be forced on anyone, at anytime.
Religion should not be forced on anyone, at anytime, because of the amendment to the Constitution. This amendment states that the government shall not push religion on the people it governs. Everyone has heard the saying: "Freedom of Religion." It is one of mans basic rights to practice whichever religion he wants, therefore religion should not be forced on anyone, at anytime.
Religion should not be forced on anyone, at anytime, because nobody should be forced to do anything he or she doesn't want to do. Teachers who make everyone pray before class are being unfair to all of the students in the class. Going to grade school through high school in a Catholic school, my experiences are credible. At no time was a student allowed to skip mass, which the school had once a month. But also at no time did a student have to participate in the service. Since forcing anything on anyone is wrong, religion should not be forced on anyone, at anytime.
Religion should not be forced on anyone at anytime, because if the government started controlling what we worship, the United States would fall into a dictatorship. The government would surely start with religion, and who knows where it would end. A dictatorship is nothing any of us want to mess with, so religion should not be forced on anyone at any time.
