Setting- Salem village in Massachussetts 1692
             Main Characters- Abigail Williams-the oldest of the girls that accused others of witchery and the leader once was a servent of the Proctors. Parris- Reverend Samuel Parris of Salem the father of Elizabeth Parris and uncle of Abigail Williams
             Elizabeth Proctor-wife of Mr. Proctor and accused of witchery by Abigail
             Mr. Proctor- committed adultery on his wife with Abigail and was accused of witchery and hung.
             In 1692 in Salem Massachussetts a group of young girls went out to the woods with there homemade crystal balls to look into the future and learn about who there husbands would be. They danced, drank blood of a chicken, and some got naked. Reverend Parris had come upon it.
             Soon the girls were exhibiting strange behavior and fits. Many people were accused. Reverend Hale came to see if it was witchery. Many people were accused of witchery and if they confessed they were saved but if they didn't they were hung. Peoples morals were very important back then and many would not confess because they would be lieing and it would be a sin.
             Elizabeth Proctor was accused of witchery by Abigail Williams because Abigail was in love with Mr. Proctor but Mr. Proctor would not continue with Abigail. Proctor then tried to show the court that the girls witchery was all an act. He had Mary Warren confess that she was acting. He told the court the reason why Abigail accused Elizabeth Proctor was because she wanted him to herself. Mary Warren then Accused Mr. Proctor of witchery and He was hung. Abigail didn't get what she wanted.
             Eventually the court realized that many who were killed were not witches. they then stopped hanging those accused of witchery. Those in Jail were released.
