macbeth

In Macbeth, William Shakespeare creates several characters with "masks". Hiding true faces and emotions makes the plot to Macbeth. It holds accountable for certain events that occur in the story. The story is about how Macbeth wants to become the new King of Scottland. Macbeth and Lady Macbeth both collaborated in killing the King. This leads to the rise of Macbeth to the throne. In this decree, the life of a King was not according to his perceptions, but he keeps a mask on to hide it fromm the country.
In act one sscene five, takes place at the banquet in the castle of Macbeth, Lady Macbeth tells Macbeth not to look as if he knows that the King is going to be assassinated. "Look like the innocent flower, but be the serpent under it", Lady Macbeth orders. A mask must be put on, so that no one can find out that he is goin to kill the King. Mask's can cover anything one does not want others to see, and allows the person to live in some tranquillity. Time has come to pass and Macbeth starts to have second thoughts. Lady Macbeth talks to him, and convinces him the plan will succeed. As Macbeth returns to the banquet (with his decided mind to kill the king), He says, "false face must hide what the false heart doth know." Meaning, they will return and decaive anyone by hiding their evil intent with gracious faces. Mask's can decaive anyone and anything, but to the human eye it is the truth.
