I feel that this writing portfolio is an excellent way of showing the progress that my group and I have made in our writing skills through out the semester. The portfolio is an organized way of presenting my work and all the improvements that my group and I have made. This helps because if I ever needed to know anything about my work or my groups work, it is all at my disposal to go back to because it is all organized in a neat and organized fashion.
In this portfolio includes all nine of my journal entries with an emphasis on journal entry numbers two, three, and seven. Also included is my 250 Word Abstract on Annie Dillard, the 750 Word Summary on Johnathon Weiner, my Challenge/ Joy Essay with my peer comments as well as your comments and lastly the Wordsmith Profile Essay with your comments and my peers comments as well.
The 250 word Abstract on Annie Dillard is included in this portfolio because it is required to be. I chose to show emphasis on journal entry numbers two, three, and seven because I felt that those were the entries that I had no trouble writing and felt strongly toward the issues they expressed. The stories made a lot of sense to me when I read them and I understood them very well. Since I was so interested in the stories, writing the journals wasn't a problem at all.
