Children are allotted the same nurturing whether it is from a qualified heterosexual parent, or qualified homosexual parent. They too strive to have long lasting committed and valuable relationships. They offer love, and studies show that they have the tendency to be more open with family members (2).
             Morality is an issue often raised when discussing the tribulations of gay and lesbian parents. We are aware that morality is influenced by "right" and "wrong" choices based on beliefs and values (both religious and social). Many of these non-traditional parents adopt and provide unwanted children with homes and stable family lives, would it be immoral to deny children of loving homes? Children deserve the opportunity to be placed into homes where parents are qualified and excited about raising them and teaching them morals.
