Today's younger generation is plagued with many difficulties. It seems day by day, children have to adhere to trials without the assistance of a mother or father, simply because they don't have one.
             Children today need the support and guidance of adults. Whether those adults are married or not really does not matter. Qualifications for adoption should not only rely on their marriage stability, but also their financial, mental, and personal goals.
             Focusing on the needs of the younger generation, it is vital to have an adult figure participate in their lives.
             Without education, guidance, and support, a child may walk a path of destruction. Today, the younger generation is influenced by their surroundings and parental teachings. A large percentage of teenagers follow their parent's common traits. Smoking is a perfect example to illustrate my argument. Most kids who are raised in a household where the parents are smokers will certainly pick up this bad trait, whereas, parents who practice non-smoking see the same results in their children most of the times.
             No doubt, the type of environment in which a child is raised has a great effect on a child's behavior.
             Whether a child is placed in a married, or unmarried, couple, or single parent family should not matter.
             Comparing married and unmarried families, and the effect they have on young children will be my next goal.
