Ethics

There are many risks and fears to think of when it comes to human cloning. One is that someone will abuse the power of our accelerating technology and create a vast army of soldiers. Another is that the Black Market will be used more openly, and that people would sell fetuses of desirable people to have clones made of them. Clones would be thought of as second class citizens and that lowers human dignity. God has given each and every person on Earth their own identity to be unique. Cloning is an act that someone is trying to play God. Three main disadvantages of cloning humans are health risks from mutation of genes, emotional risks, and the risk of abuse of the technology. Cloning to create stem cells is the same as destroying a human embryo which is the same as abortion. Abortion is wrong. A fact about cloning is they destroy embryos in the womb when they are imperfect. You cannot have a so-called therapeutic cloning without reproductive cloning because the technology to make clone babies is the same as to make cloned embryos to try to make replacement tissue. It took 277 tries before a successful clone was made of a lamb. That lamb was Dolly. It is expected that human clones would have more lethal defects and death than cloned animals.
Cloning goes against the Bible. All beings were created in an image of God. The Bible says "Children should be conceived within a martial union between opposite sexes". Man should not allow human cloning because it violates God's intentions by allowing man to reproduce without a sexual partner.
George Bush should be President because he is against abortion and stem cell research. John Kerry on the other hand should not. He is for abortion and stem cell research. Abortion is wrong. Stopping a beating heart is wrong. There is an exception of incest. In my eyes, cloning is unethical, wrong, and should be banned worldwide. We are already over populated
