Everything is going fine in the town of the greasers. Ponyboy is just starting
             to get used to going day in and day out with Jonny, and so is the rest of the gang.
             "Things will never be the same" Tubit is always saying.
             And ever since Jonny said "Stay gold" from Gone with the wind, that has
             been the new saying for the greasers. Any time somebody leaves stay gold is said.
             Or if there is a rumble stay gold is their battle cry. There was only one rumble and
             it was between the greaser and a bunch of hood from another town.
             Another interesting thing is the fuzz never came and took Soda and Ponyboy
             away. They came and checked out the house and said that the living conditions
             were OK. There was one catch though every month a fuzz had to come by and
             check up on them. Also Darry had to cut down to one job. They would get pay
             from the state to make up for this. And because of Darry only having one job he
             could go to collage, a community collage. He went to collage to peruse his dream as
             a car designer. Soda is doing good too, he is still working at the gas station and in
             his spare time he likes to work out at the gym.
             As for Ponyboy he got a job, and you won't believe where. He got a job at
             the drive in. Now he can watch every movie he wants to see and occasionally sneak
             his friends free food. Emotional wise he is getting better every once in a while Pony
             will just break down and cry in his room and the only thing that will chair him up is
             reading Gone With the Wind. So with all the tragedies that have happened the only
             way that I think that I can end this is to say Stay gold.
