Abortion: The Right to Choose or The Right to Kill
Abortion is defined as the destruction or termination of a fetus while still in the mother's womb. However, abortion is so much more then just the definition. The controversy surrounding it and the consequences which come with preforming such an act are far beyond anything which could ever be defined. Two stances are usually taken in the debate over the moral, ethical and religious issues of abortion. The Pro-Life view which takes the view of abortion being morally, ethically and religiously wrong. Pro-Choice on the other hand believes that abortion should be the choice of the individual faced with the situation based upon their own values and beliefs. These two opposing sides are constantly debating the issues of abortion. They argue over when the life of a person actually begins and who has the right to choose to end an individual's existence. Regardless, of any arguments they may have properly the most heated of them all is should the act of abortion be a legal choi!
ce which people should have. These argument and issues of abortion have to be solved but really can they ever be??
Life, is the thing we all value the most. We try to protect it by keeping our body healthy and free from disease to live longer and hopefully happier. But when does this miracle we call life actually begin? If you asked a Pro-Life activist, they would tell you that life begins at the very moment of conception when an egg meets a sperm. When the embryo is no bigger than the head of a pin. Pro-Life person's however do not have a very strong backing scientifically for scientists do not know too little about these beginning stages to say yes or no that life positively begins here or at a later stage. Religiously though pro-life activists could not bring up stronger argument. The bible actually states "Even if the mother forgets the child within her womb, I shall not forget my own."...
