It was a cold and frosty morning as I left for my bus stop. This year my bus stop had been changed so I had to walk farther to get to it. This was kind of a pain but I got used to it and learned to like it.
I was tired and cold as I walked down that open street. When I arrived at my bus stop no one was there yet so I sat down on the cub and waited. I looked to my left down the road and I saw a gray car driving at about normal speed so I ignored it but then I looked ahead down another road and a red car was going extremely fast toward the intersection. I had a gut feeling that told me to back away from the bus stop so I did. I backed up about twenty feet.
Then the red car tried to run through the stop sign and the gray car slammed right into it and the red car rolled over twice and stopped right where I had been sitting down before I backed up.
I was in shock. My arms where trembling and my heart was racing like a drum at a sacrificial ceremony. The two men who were in the gray car got out and went over to the red car, which was upside down. One of the men helped the guy in the red car out well the other helped the girl in the red car out. The man in the red car was crying I thought he was hurt but he was crying about his car and how damaged it was.
His girlfriend had broken her leg and he was obsessing about his car. I was in shock about that too. Oh the smell, the smell was horrible, it was of burning rubber and gasoline. I felt dizzy and nauseated. Then in the distance I heard a bunch of sirens and they were coming this way. Then I saw them down at the end of the road speeding toward the dreadful accident scene.
The two police officers pulled up first then the ambulance. The two officers and the E.M.T rushed to the two cars.
