The Resurrection of Jesus-Cornerstone of Who I Am
The resurrection of Jesus Christ brought to me the knowledge that my sins are forgiven. Without this knowledge my faith in Him would be useless.
Jesus died and was raised for the forgiveness of the sins of the entire world. This is an awe-inspiring act of God to send His one and only son as the sacrifice for the sins of the entire world. This act is one sure sign of God's grace and unending love for His creation. Without this gift, the world itself would be in the despair of sin and death. We would have nothing to put our faith in and no reason to believe that we are saved. Our faith would be truly pointless
For this reason, I put all of my heart and mind into believing that Jesus died and was raised for my sins. Through this I know I am saved. My faith is not useless. It is an incredible blessing from God. I live for the salvation that God has granted me. Through His grace I am saved. The news that Jesus died for my sins was one of the most crucial lessons I learned in my Sunday school career. It opened my heart to the realization that I have something to believe in and to hope for: an everlasting life with God in heaven through faith in Jesus as my savior.
It is beyond doubt that I have faith in Jesus as my one and only savior. Without him, faith would be nonexistent. It is incredible feeling to have something to look forward to when I die because of God's gift. I am saved.
