Upgrading a Commerce Server 2000 Evaluation Edition
Perform the following steps to upgrade a Commerce Server 2000 Evaluation Edition installation to Commerce Server 2000.
Install Commerce Server 2000 on the same computer as the Evaluation Edition installation. You do not need to uninstall the Evaluation Edition.
After the computer restarts, you will be prompted for the Commerce Server 2000 25-character Product key.
Upgrading a Commerce Server Beta or Final Preview Release
To upgrade a Commerce Server Beta installation to Commerce Server 2000, you must first upgrade to Commerce Server Final Preview. For information about upgrading a Beta installation to Final Preview, see "Upgrading a Commerce Server Beta Installation" available at http://support.microsoft.com/support/commerceserver/2000/install/beta_upgrade.asp.
To upgrade a Commerce Server Final installation to Commerce Server 2000, you use three programs that are available on the Commerce Server 2000 CD: RC0Export.vbs, RTMImport.vbs, and cs2kRTMUpgrade.exe.
