Individuals have the right to own property and enter contracts.
This is one feature in the free enterprise system. When people own
their own homes, cars and furniture or when businesses own their
own offices and machinery, this is a right they have. Individuals also
have the right to enter contracts. Oral or written, contracts can
legally bind an agreement together. Another feature in the U.S.
market is limited government. In a free enterprise system,
government interference is limited but they still regulate the
economy. By taxation, the government raises enough money for
public education and military funding. They also control how much
taxed money goes to what programs in need.
