r all those around them, no matter the situation. Huck’s parental figures at the beginning of the book wanted him to get an education, but he didn’t see it necessary. In today’s world, that type of conformity is accepted as a way of life, but Huck acted out in his own way, just as adolescents do today, to keep them from conforming him with the other children his age.
             As Huck tries to escape his life, both with the widow and his father, he struggles with the reality of living without standards and growing up at the same time. In a slight way, I believe that he realizes slowly throughout the story that freedom has to come with rules and standard
