"The Rocking-Horse Winner"
             When Paul asked his mother why their family was in such a bad financial situation, the mother replied that her husband, Paul's father, "had no luck", and that consequently made her "unlucky" as well. Do you not agree that "Luck" was the only thing that millions of people, I included, were thinking when we bought our one hundred and thirty million dollar lottery tickets at local "Deli" stores last Saturday? Just like millions of other people, "Luck" has eluded us. And it will continue to elude us until we will understand what luck really is about. Even if I would have had hit the Jack Pot, I would not call it luck, it rather would be a random result of cosmos. Luck, on the other hand, has slightly different definition.
             "Luck is when preparation meets opportunity." If you agree with this definition then we can assert that being lucky has everything to do with our own reality. We are the ones who can be in control, only when we choose to be in control. Many people are unlucky not so much because of bad karma or cosmos. They are unlucky because they either unprepared or they simply do not seek for opportunity. The answer to how we can become lucky lies only within ourselves, and to answer it one does not need to know rocket science.
