In parenting class we had to do a project dealing with "Baby Think it Over" babies. "Baby Think it Over" is an electronic stimulator that acts like a real baby, it cries, it burps, it eats and it needs to be changed just like a real baby. I had the baby for three nights and three and a half days.
The baby woke up, the first night I had her, at 1:00 am, 3:00am,5:00am, and 7:00am. So I got probably two and a half to three and a half hours of sleep. The second night I had her, which was Saturday, she was a little better, and whenever I was occupied , my friend was over at my house to help me keep her quite.
Sunday, the third night, she was good she woke up twice. After she woke up and I had gotten finished changing her, feeding her, and burping her I finally figured out why she was still "crying" after I finished, it was because she was fussy and the only way I could get her to calm down was to rock her in her car seat 'til she fell asleep.
My brother thought that the project was dumb and it was a waste of time and batteries. My dad on other hand thought the idea of having an electronic stimulating baby that does the exact same thing as a real baby does is good experience for a young teenager to experience so they will truly understand the full responsibilities of parenthood.
In conclusion to this project, I have to say it was one heck of a weekend and yeah I did learn something, "If you're to young to manage a baby, then don't have sex or you'll regret it for the rest of your life!"
