The Story of an Hour

A possible reason the title might have been changed from, "The Story of an Hour", to, "The Dream of an Hour" could be because the woman was drinking an elixir. This elixer could have been a kind of hallugent. Which would cause her to "dream", while she was awake. Another reason could be that after being told of Mr. Mallard's death she was so greef stricken that she couldn't see straight. let alone thinck straight. Both titles are obvously very similar. The only diffrence are the words: Story and Dream. Ether title seems to be approprate for the story. It was a story, so, "The Story of an Hour" obvously works. On the other hand, the lady was dalousional and dreamining all the things that were going on around her. For that reason, the title,"The Dream of an Hour", would woork too. Perhaps even just a tid bit better.
