During the 1800's the social structures of accumulation changed drastically. In general the earliest catalyst to economic growth came from foreign trade, which increased from 1793 to 1840. The six components of a perfectly competitive capitalist economy, was the driving force that stimulated the accumulation of wealth in the 1800's. The K-K relationships were considered the infant stage or primitive accumulation of industrialization. During this stage some merchants were making the transition from merchant capitalists to industrial capitalists in textiles. Also some of the petty commodity producers were becoming industrial capitalists in boots and shoes, barrels and cabinets. The K-L relationships asserted a different change than anticipated.
