Prince Charles had noticed Diana at her fathers' estate
in Northamptonshire, while he was attending a shooting
party, of her fathers'. Lady Sarah, Diana's sister, had
previously dated Prince Charles for several months, and she

12, 1980. In 1980, when they once again met, they started
dating. It was a year later, on February 24, 1981, that
they had announced there engagement to each other. On July
29, 1981 Prince Charles and Lady Diana were married. The
wedding took place at St. Paul's Cathedral in London. There
were around 1000 people attending the wedding, and it was
watched by about 750 million people world wide on
television. Diana was the first English woman to marry an
heir to England's throne in over 300 years. At the wedding
the Archbishop of Canterbury said, "Here is the stuff of
which fairy tales are made." But Diana knew then that, what
he had said was not true, because she had already discovered
that Charles was still in love with Camille Parker-Bowles.

After a year of being married, Princess Diana and
Prince Charles, had a son named Prince William Arthur Philip
Louis Windsor, whom was also know as Wills. Prince William
was born on June 21, 1982. He is second in line to the
throne after his father, Charles. Two years later, on
September 15, 1984, there was a second addition to there
royal family. There second son was born. His name is
Prince Henry Charles Albert David, whom they called Harry.
