             While I was watching MTV, there was a special that was called "When Lyrics
             Kill". Eminem, one of the upcoming rap star that are topping the charts as we
             speak, was being featured. Eminem is known for explicit lyrics. He says what he thinks
             and feels and doesn't care what other people think even if he is offending people. His
             lyrics contain about killing and abusing his wife, homosexuals, and other subjects that
             other artist dare not to rap about. What makes him stand out is his boldness to speak
             his mind. There have been plenty of issues that parents and other people have brought to
             his attention. His music sells, but should our kids be listening to it? His music sends
             messages to people. It may be the right message or even the wrong message. How can
             people prevent this from going to far. Censorship is the answer. Censorship has always
             been a controversial question and a very interesting topic to talk about to one another.
             Should this be allowed to be on TV? Is it okay if we listen to this in school? Does
             America censor unnecessary subjects? There are plenty of topics about this subject and
             First of all, what is censorship? According to the dictionary, censorship is
             defined as an the institution system or practice of censoring; the actions or practices of
             censors . Another definition is the process in which officials or others are empowered to
             suppress material, speech, and ideas that are objectionable because of moral, political,
             military, religious, or other material . To me censorship is when something is blocked,
             not seen, not heard, or not open to the public because it offends people. What causes a
             controversy about this topic is when maybe certain things are not censored and they do
             hurt or offend people or when something is censored and people think it shouldn't and
             they think they have a right not to be censored, but the big issue...
