             The novel Nineteen Eighty-Four is about a government that controls every aspect of the citizens life. The government is known as Big Brother. The world is divided into three super states; Oceania, Eurasia, and Eastasia. The entire story takes place in the super state Oceania and the area Airstrip One, which is where London is. The year is 1984 and the world is trying to perfect mind control and anything that has to do with war. Winston Smith is the main character in the story. He works at a place called the Ministry of Peace, which doctors documents to make Big Brother always appear correct. One day Winston found that Big Brother had executed three men that were innocent.
