My dog Skip was a very good movie. I got a lot out of it. I noticed that the value systems are shown when the kid takes responsibility for his dog. Meanness was displayed when the guy kicks the dog in the graveyard. This was hard for me to watch, because it is sad to think that somebody could actually do that to such a cute innocent little dog. It almost made me cry. Racial harmony was shown by the communication relationships between the different types of races in the movie. Disrespect is obviously shown in this movie when the children are teasing one another. Love is shown many times in this movie. The most obvious example is at the end when the boy is laying at the bed with his dog telling skip how much he loves him and how much he means to him. This was a very dramatic part of the movie and touched my heart. It reminded me of my Dalmation I used to have. It passed away my freshman year. I loved my dog so much. The crooks showed dishonesty by stealing the jewe!
             lerly and the boy shows bravery by trying to prevent the crooks from stealing it.
             This movie showed many themes and was very entertaining. I would just like to take this time and thank you Mrs. Williamson for giving us the opportunity to watch this movie.
