             Cell phones. It seems that in with the changing of the millennium, came the changing of people from pagers to cell phones. In the beginning, these portable wonders of modern technology were only used by the wealthiest people, such as doctors and lawyers. Nowadays, you can't drive down the road, go into a store, or even attend a family reunion without hearing the now all too familiar rings of cell phones, And why not? They seem just as good as a regular phone in home phones, yet you can take them with you where ever you go. But which one is really the best? When weighing the differences, all options must be considered; added convenience, reliability and price.
             There is no doubt that cell phones are an added Convenience to daily life. Being able to contact people and have them be able to reach you is one of the most common reasons a person buys a cell phone. If you are a student living at home, cell phones are even more convenient. Instead of people calling your home and waking up your parents, all they have to do is call your cell phone. This means less calls you miss and less time explaining to your parents why your friend had to call you at midnight.
             With the added convenience of a cell phone, often times people overlook the possible hassles. Only mature people should take on the responsibility of a cell phone. Much like the portable home phone, cell phones need to have their battery packs charged to keep them up and running. Nothing is more upsetting than leaving the house with your cell phone, only to find that the battery is low. Another responsibility that comes with the cell phone is making sure that you know where it is and keep it with you. It will not do you any good sitting at the bottom of a lost and found box or in the hands of a person who has stolen it from you.
