             blocks up Elm Street and caught a bus going in the opposite direction. He stayed on the
             bus for only two blocks then he hailed a taxi and went to Neely Street in Oak Cliff. His
             stop was only one block away from the rooming house on North Beclley where he lived.
             Oswald dashed home and put on his gray zippered jacket. He also got his snub-nosed
             Smith and Wesson revolver. A maid verified the time he left as exactly 1PM. At 1:16PM
             the Dallas Police Officer J.D. Tippit was found bleeding to death by his radio car.
             Witnesses at the scene said he had been shot repeatedly by a man in a gray jacket who,
             minutes before had been seen talking to Tippit. At 1:50PM sixteen police officers moved
             into the theater where a suspect in the Tippit shooting had been reportedly been hiding.
             Oswald was seated alone in the second row of the movie theater and didn't notice the
             police coming up behind him. In a last Ditch effort to resist arrest he flailed out at the
             police with his fists, then he drew his snub-nosed revolver.
             When asked by the police, Oswald refused to give his name. The police found two
             selective service cards on him. The names were Aleck James Hidell and Lee Harvey
             Oswald. During the first interrogation Oswald told the police that he ate lunch on the first
             floor, then went to the second floor for a coke. He also acknowledged his encounter with
             officer Marrion L. Baker. He then said he went out and talked with forman Bill Shelly.
