             A research paper is a document in logical order that informs or influences an audience of a precise topic. There are many different types of papers that attain these standards. Informative papers include compare and contrast, analytical, descriptive, narrative, book reports, autobiographies, and biographies. Compare and contrast papers associate two or more subjects with each other as well as finding the differences between them. Analytical papers are investigations into an issue and can question the validity of the issues involved. Descriptive papers illustrate a topic and help with learning and comprehension of that topic. Narrative documents depict a story in which the authors words enlighten the reader on a certain subject matter. Book reports summarize an author’s literary creation so as to inform other readers of the material. Autobiographies and biographies discuss someone’s life.
