Industrialization: The Beginnings

             Although there are many aspects of England that attributed it to being the starting point of the Industrial Revolution there are five that especially contributed to it. An abundance of natural resources, a large supply of workers, a stable government, the fact that it is an island, and their colonies all lead to the Industrial Revolution to begin in England. The Industrial Revolution was an explosion of new inventions and Concepts that revolutionized the way industry would be forever.
             The first aspect of England that lead to them beginning the Industrial Revolution would be that England had an abundance of natural resources. One of England's many natural resources would be coal. The coal was important in that day and time because it supplied some of the power that was used in factories. Coal was also important because it supplied warmth when burnt to the few who could afford it. Another natural resource of England would be the many deposits of iron. Iron was important during the Industrial Revolution because it provided a stronger material for people work with. The streams that existed in England were also helpful because they gave the factories power to run off of. Many new cities grew around these streams and factories, urbanization, which is major part industrialization.
             The second aspect of England that lead them to beginning the Industrial Revolution would be that England had a large supply of workers. There was many reasons why England had a surplus of workers. The first would be the population explosion because of the advances in agriculture. Also major Advances in medicines, antiseptics, and anesthetics all lead to a larger population which leads to more workers. Another major thing that separated England from other countries was that they had a low infant mortality rate.
