is when consumer's demand in the marketplace rises rapidly or decreases rapidly.
             If demand increases rapidly within the marketplace, businesses increase their prices of goods and services within the market due to the law of demand. The rapid increase in demand leads to a rapid increase in prices, which then in turn causes inflation.
             If demand decreases rapidly within the marketplace, business in accordance with the law of demand lowers their prices within the market. The rapid decrease in demand leads to a rapid decrease in prices, which then in turn causes deflation.
