Creation vs. Evolution

I believe God is the Creator of life. It says in Genesis 1:1 "In the beginning God created the heavens and the Earth." I think God is the Creator if you just look around and the order and sophisticated. Everything is too dang complex for it to come about by random chance. The Second Law of Thermodynamics states that everything decays or goes from an orderly state to a disorderly state. This conflicts with evolution that says that things go from a disorderly state to an orderly state because things supposedly get better. However, in order to have order it must have been put there in the first place in other words been created. Everything in the bible is true because it's the written Word of God. Also God says its true.
I think the Big Bang never happened. I think that God just said, "Let there be light," and there was. The universe is expanding out from a central point but there is no way to prove that than just theory. Scientists came up with the big bang theory because they are trying to explain how the universe came to be without using God. At a point in time scientists had to say what existed. They say that matter was "just there" to begin with. That it was always there. That is where the big bang theory collapses.
I believe in the Long-day theory. Interpreting the seven days in Genesis 1 as seven ages. I think he probably took more than 6 literal days to create everything. I know he could have easily created everything in 6 actual days or even 6 seconds. II Peter 3:8 says, "One day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day." I used to think that God created the earth in 6 actual days but later I changed my mind. I think it really does not matter whether we believe in long-day or short-day theories. There is support for both of them and salvation does not depend on your view of creation.
