Political analysts claim that the use of this word is meant to tune into the US public and their concerns. In addition, "purring" words can be found on many billboards and adverts. Examples of "purr" words found in adverts of London's The Financial Times April 11th issue are "success" and "security". Both of these "purr" words are found in different adverts for mutual fund companies hoping to promise financial success by investing in their funds.
