Therefore, our tendency to overcome fear comes from the prejudices that men must be brave in order to make everybody around them proud! However, in our days the feministic movement would say that women can watch, too; and the story of being fearless goes along with the many social stereotypes which influence humanity. Consequently, our social stereotypes have created in us the opposing feelings for doing something that we don't want to do, but we must do it! However, who would go swimming after seeing "Jaws" or take a shower after watching "Psycho"?(Arbor 1)
