Step outside your home...what would you change?

             On different days, I would change different things. Some would be changed with the eyes of a child, and others with the spirit of compassion and concern. These are the changes I'm feeling today.
             The sky would be purple and the sun would always be shining. At night the moon would be full and change colors every thirty seconds. The grass would be orange and would never grow more than two inches high. The old lady across the street wouldn't be crazy anymore and we wouldn't have to lock our doors at night.
             Everyday when the mailman came, he would fill the mailbox with checks instead of bills. Smile and good nature would be supreme. Winds and rains would be soft and gentle, and when it rained, it would rain gumdrops and marshmallows. There would be fluffy white snow on the ground even on the hottest day.
             The leaves outside would always be changing colors. Pigs could fly and money would grow on trees. Godzilla would drive me to school in the morning, and when I got there, King Kong would be holding open the door.
             Sick people would be healthy and old people would be young, and an open, kind, gentle hand would be extended to the world.
             Barbeque ribs would be healthy and vegetables would taste way better than ice cream. Unkind people everywhere would have a star in the middle of their forehead, so you could tell them apart from everyone else. Liars would grow long noses and puppets could be real boys.
             Heartbreak and anxiety would disappear with the snap of a finger and all kids and parents would get along. Gas would be three cents a gallon and everybody would be millionaires.
             Modern day industry would treat Earth with the same love and concern as the American Indian.
             Bubbles and flowers would fall from the sky, but turn to pixy dust when they hit the ground. You could, at anytime, click your ruby slippers together and you would be home, because there is no place like it.
