This Writer thinks that Dr.Kings dream is somewhat realized but as in any case no dream ever happens perfectly. The world right now is probably the least racist that it has ever been since the stoneage. Through the centuries people were taught to hate. Not to only hate themselves but to hate anyone diffrent than their ideas or beliefs. People were taught to hate anyone who posed a threat, anyone who appeared diffrent physically or mentally.
             Anyone seeming diffrent from the rest of the mass populus was deemed diffrent and inferior. People were taught these beliefs throughout the centuries. Making it ok to deem someone a lower class than you because of a physical or a mental diffrence. For many years people in the south and other parts of the country liked to take things out on black people. They were not diffrent in any other way than you or me,their skin was simply darker.
             Even after the Emancipation Proclimation was encated and slavery was abolished, people in the south defied it by creating things such as the black codes and the Jim Crow laws to keep black people as second class citizens in their own country.
             In the 50'S& 60'S Black people were getting fed up with being mistreated because of the color of their skin. In 1955 in Montgomery Alabama an event transpired that would go down in history. A African American lady named Rosa Parks decided she would not give up her seat to someone who was white on the bus. She was arrested. This sparked outrage in Alabama. The arrest of Rosa Parks caused a bus boycott where no black person rode the buses. After a year the boycott was over.
             This was the event that fueled the civil rights movement and inspired Martin Luther King Jr. a son of a baptist minister to fight for his peoples rights to be treated equally.
