An eight-year-old boy by the name of Joye lived with his family in a private house. Joye was very outgoing and had a great sense of humor. Around the block he was known as a troublemaker. One Saturday, his parents decided to take a night off and left Joye with his grandmother, an elderly woman who cared for Joye since he was born. Joye always enjoyed playing jokes on his grandmother, until one joke got out of control.
             On that Saturday evening as Joye was playing, his grandmother decided to step out to the store that was located right around the corner to buy some milk she needed for dinner. She left Joye alone at home for a couple minutes. Realizing that he was home along, Joye decided it would be fun to play another one of his jokes. He picked up the phone and dialed 911. When the operator answered he told her he was a hostage locked in the house, and he was scared, alone and didn't know what to do.
             Within minutes the ambulance and the fire department arrived on the scene. The door was broken down and Joye was rescued. At the moment his grandmother was coming back from the store. As she was walking she saw a block full of people and a lot of lights coming from her private house. The expression on her face was indescribable. She was scared and horrified. When she walked into the apartment she was arrested and taken into police custody. To verify her identity and the situation that occurred, Joye parents were called and the case was resolved. This all started out as another joke to Joye, but it ended as an experience and a lesson no one will ever forget.
             MORAL: Before you play a joke, think about the consequences.
