             To get involved in dirt bike racing you have to race in the right age group or division. You also have to know what size and type of dirt bike is right for you. Lastly, you need to know what kind of race you want to participate in, depending on your interests.
             First of all, if you plan on racing a dirt bike you need to know
             what division to get into. Dirt biking is a very popular sport that has blossomed since the late 1980's. The reason for this is because dirt bikes are better than they used to be. New dirt bikes look better and can go faster. Dirt biking is for everyone four years of age and up. The divisions in engine size are measured in cc's, cubic centimeters. For example, if you are between the ages of four and seven you would race the fifty cc dirt bikes. If you are between the ages of eight and eleven you have a choice of racing a sixty cc or eighty cc dirt bike. If you are between the ages of twelve and fifteen you could race in the eighty cc or one hundred twenty five cc class. If you are sixteen years old or older you can race one hundred twenty five cc dirt bikes or larger.
             Secondly there are a wide variety of dirt bikes. Some dirt bikes are modified to fit giant motorcycle engines into them.
