Industrial revolution

Why Was There A Industrial Revolution?
During the 1750's and the 1900's there was an industrial revolution , this was due to many reasons amongst them I have found six points which you will find very enlightening as they clearly explain why the changes took place and how these changes were necessary and effective...... In the eighteenth century all of Western Europe began to industrialize rapidly, but in England the process was most highly accelerated. England's head start may be attributed to the emergence of a number of simultaneous factors.
Firstly the population increase which meant a great deal to the industrial revolution as it meant that there were now more workers ,this sudden increase also made the price of daily materials, items(food)became cheaper so more people could buy them, man power was used during this period which would soon change, workshops were available and factories were on a small scale, manufacturing was done at homes, having more people meant that more things were needed, this probably sparked off the revolution as machinery became a easier and cheaper way to produce products( this left a lot of people workless).
Secondly transport was amongst these factors, the reason for this change was simple the state that Britain was in with their transport was honestly pathetic, getting around the country was a really a slow process this was due to a number of reasons for example the roads were as bad as you can get they had remained uneven bumpy for centuries so a number of locals formed a group knows as the turnpike trust whom eventually improved the roads, doing this they charged the public to use them. The turnpike trust soon spread through the country rapidly. Many canals were built this meant that travelling and transporting goods were easier for example the journey from London to Edinburgh that used to take a week by boat and twelve days by road now took only five day
