Terror In the Air

             There are so many things that you can say about what happened in that day of Infamy September 11, 2001 but words can barely describe the things that changed all history books across America.
             September 11, 2001 a date that I will never forget and few will. This is that day that the world Trade centers and other government related structures were attacked by terrorists from across the country.
             Around 8:45am the north tower of the world trade center was hit by a Boeing 767. When first hearing this I thought that I must be some sort of accident and everything will be ok, almost 21 minutes later about 9:06am the south tower was hit by another Boeing 767. When hearing about second tower was the first thought that popped into my mind was that this is no accident we have to be under some sort of attack.
             About 9:40 am another 20 minutes later a Boeing 757 American Airlines Flight 77 crashes into the pentagon. I was in shock I couldn't believe that something this horrible and devastating could ever happen in America. I always thought that war happened in the Middle East, not in America; I was wrong.
             On a normal day, we value heroism because it is uncommon. On Sept. 11, we valued heroism because it was everywhere. I would have never thought that America could unite together like they did in this time of sadness, horror, and pain, but they did; they are still standing strong and united in the United States. This terrorist attack did not destroy out patriotism it just re kindled it. I am proud to be an American and I know myself I was willing to do whatever I can to help people get threw this time of Devastation. I had a sense of anger but at the same time a sense of Pain and sorrow just sitting in my chest and I wont go away no matter what I did. Just thinking of this horrible thing that has struck America makes me angry and sad. Angry in the way that I wish they could find the person that did this and make them suffer
