Beowulf: Grendel's Diary

Today I had an amazing feast at the Mead Hall. It consisted of 30 of the king's spearmen. They had passed out because they had so much alcohol to drink. It made I easier to eat them because of that. Best of all King Hrothgar has done little to stop me from this. I can go anywhere I want and slaughter anybody. There is however one bad thing about this, and it is the indigestion. Do you know how much those guys kick when going down. It was well worth it though.
I received some very humorous news today. A man by the name of Beowulf has come across the whale road to challenge me. He has come decorated with nice and shiny weapons. Beowulf actually believes that he can kill me, the Demon Grim and ancestor of Cain. Does he know that I work for the devil? Obviously not. Anyway the great-grandson of Scyld gave him a great feast when he arrived. I guess that means some more meat for me. This Beowulf character has said that he has defeated many beasts, and giants. Does he want to die? Come on I am not a beast and I am not a giant. I am Grendel. I may be a little insane, but this Beowulf now he is beyond insane. He will be an easy task. I am sure of it. I have no need to worry for I am Grendel the Demon Grim, ancestor of Cain. I am the best monster there is, I am the best monster was, and I am the best monster there ever will be. You want to know why, because I said so. So I hope the he shines that sword up real nice, because I am Grendel and no one can beat me. Beowulf better save the drama for his homeland in Sweden because he won't be able to do anything when I run wild on him or his men. Have a nice day Beowulf it might be your last.
