Webster defines a husband as being "one who owns his land...a man who conserves and saves for [the benefit of] future use". A husband is, indeed, these things and many, many more.
             I would like a husband to make sure the bills are always paid on time. A husband who will work ten hour shifts, assuring his family's security, while I go to school. A husband who manages to make sure his family has a dinner to cook and breakfast to follow. A husband who realizes complaining gets nothing done. I want a husband who disciplines the children because my heart is too sensitive to their cries. A husband who provides for their material needs because I don't have a job. A husband who doesn't mind occasionally cleaning so I can have extra study time.
             I want a husband who will take care of my physical and emotional needs. A husband who will tell his pregnant wife what she wants to hear. A husband who doesn't deny me a backrub and foot massage minutes after he has gotten off of work. A husband who puts his own sexual needs aside to accomodate the wishes of his wife. A faithful husband who, throughout his sexual frustration, remains pleasant and in control. I want a husband to support me through life's tragedies as well as through life's joys. A husband who stands by me through my constant mood changing, nagging, and complaining. A husband who would never leave his family.
