             A rumor I thought was humorous about Giotto was that he was a prankster as a young boy. The story goes... One day when Giotto and Cimabue were studying in the workshop, Cimabue turned away for a few minutes to do some stuff. When he turned back to his painting there was a fly on the nose of the portrait and Cimabue was trying to brush it off. It turned out that Giotto had painted it on there that realistically. Nothing was said about Cimabue getting mad about the incident. He couldn't have been too mad because Giotto was one of his favorite companions for all his trips and adventures to Rome.
