             One thing that separates Dora from other television shows is that Dora is a seven-year-old Latina, and the show is bilingual. Dora is a fearless female adventurer, described by Newsday as a "pint-size Indiana Jones." A key to "Dora's" success, much to parents' chagrin, is repetition. Taking a cue from "Mr. Rogers' Neighborhood," the main character always explains things, and she repeats everything three times.
