             " A total failure of modern society"( Ruse 1), "Most bizarre murder case in the annals of crime" (Bugliosi 32), "Deserving no ones attention, let alone admiration" (Paddock 7) , "Mass murdering dog" (Bugliosi 102), "The architect, the mastermind of the murders" (Bugliosi 68). These are just a few words
             that have been used throughout history to describe the famous serial killer by the
             name of Charles Manson. In two nights Manson and his "family" managed to torture
             and murder seven people, some of the most gruesome murders in history. Why or
             how Manson led people to kill no one knows for sure, it can not be easily defined or
             answered, we can only look at him and his life, and leave it to our own minds to
             decide what we think. Charles Manson led a very difficult childhood, the difficulty
             continued over to his so called music career. Manson then moved on and began to
             form a "family", which he manipulated to his own personal liking and perfection,
             Manson and his family committed the Tate-Libianca murders, triggered by Mansons
             "Helter Skelter" theory. Manson was eventually linked to the murders and then
             spent countless months in court, only to be found guilty as charged.
            
             If Charles Mansons child years were any indication of what was to come, a
             warning should have been given. An unplanned child, Manson was born in Cincinnati,
             Ohio, November 12, 1934, to a drunken trouble making 16 year old named, Kathleen
             Maddox. Only two years after Charles was born, Maddox filed suit against his
