Globalization is a global issue because it is the method of producing, manufacturing, and distributing goods around the world. A way of determining what type of products are needed or wanted there is found out by advertising. Advertising is how companies let's consumers know that a certain product is out there and that the company sells it. Then when the company knows that they have consumers buying their product then they manufacture it. Most companies have their products manufactured in other countries. The companies, ambitiously trying to keep up with the rest of the world, have sought to find a cheaper, more efficient way to maintain successful production. They are more readily willing to manufacture or assemble their products in places where employee pay is really inexpensive. This is where Globalization becomes a problem. When the companies are finding these inexpensive way of manufacturing they tend to look at the poorer countries that are desperate for money to support their way of living. So the companies see this and use this problem to their advantage. They build their manufacturing plants in countries where poverty is a big problem and the people there are so desperate for work that they agree to be paid wages that are extremely low. Imagine having to work 10 hours a day and being paid only enough to buy a pack of gum. This is how most companies have such a high profit margin.
