The world that the " Jesus of Montreal" lives is in bad term of the religious idea and it contrasts our religious text in our books. The Movie, Jesus of Montreal is not about the meaning of God, or his crucified son, but about the meaning of lives lived now under the shadow of the faith that blinds his characters together as Roman Catholic and more importantly as human being. The story of the Jesus of Montreal is about a group of actors that interprets the story of Jesus and they find out the Jesus' life have an extraordinary impact on their real-life existence. In the Movie we can easily recognize the similarities between the story of Jesus and the Movie. When Daniel begins to search for the actors that are going to be in his play, similar to Jesus calling his disciples. Just like Jesus disciples, Daniel fellow actors were too; for example, the Guy that worked including porn film, the lady that was having sex with priest, the woman that allowed her body to be exploited for commercial purpose, and the other guy that did not have enough faith to get the jobs that he wanted, but rather doing documentary type reading.
             The sharing of bread became an important symbol of Jesus' life. In the movie, you can notice that very easily, a good example is when Daniel shares the pizza with his fellow actors and drink wine. That was the begging of their being a community. Jesus welcomed children and Daniel shows his compatibility with children though his fun loving attitude toward the little girl that he was living with it.
             Daniel, the Jesus figure plays a major part when he goes with her to the addition for the beer commercial and the advertising people use their power to make her take her clothe off and Daniel shouts out to his friend to leave her clothes on.
