To me, he is saying that no matter how good something or someone is, imperfections will always be existent. There are always going to be pros and cons with any choice you make. Whether it be a good choice or not there could be something good or bad to spring from it. What he started to say in the above paragraph was, ignore the flaws and imperfections. If you have something good going for you don't blatantly inhale all the potential negatives. Honor the good and it will help you succeed and prosper.
             There are a plethora of definitions for the word "greatness." One is large in size, greatness can be construed as chief or preeminent, and also full of emotion. For something to be great, it has to have transcended all in its path or at least be striving for that. When you encounter greatness you will know right off the bat. Greatness will strike one, or more of your five senses like a bug to the windshield.
             Have you ever listened to a song you loved so much you grew sick of it? Before you become bored with the song you listen to so redundantly it is like you cannot get enough of it. When you are driving to hear the first note of the song and it is like a bucket of happiness was just dumped on you. You will sing the song word for word not caring what anyone else thinks of you, then the song ends and you are smiling when you realize that you sang the song and yelled the chorus so jovially you forgot everyone around you is laughing.
