For the past 15 weeks we have learned about counties from all over the world. Before coming to APU I was unaware of the diversity and cultural differences that exists in the world today. With everything from Religion to personal indifferences plaguing the world, it is interesting to see how most countries live on a daily basis. It was very interesting and informative to hear and learn about the most influential countries in the world. This Seminar not only allowed me to learn about other cultures and students, it also allowed me to understand various religions, economics, and statistics of the top countries. The Seminar was also very useful in allowing me to present in front of a group, which is important to my future as a businessman. My ability to use information that was given to me as well as being able to actively search and acquire and additional information that I needed to present my project. I was pleased to realize that I was extremely interested and intrigued about my own country and the specifics of society, economics, politics and religion that I was uneducated about. I am glad that I was allowed to not only help translate for some of the class but also able to assist and comment on things that I knew extra information on. That was something I am very proud of and can look back and say that I helped with a lot of presentations and not only mine. This class not only expanded my knowledge of my own country but also allowed me to get a better understanding of the countries and ideas that were presented. All in all I was very pleased to take this course and would only hope to wish that my next seminar would be equally as educational. I would suggest that the class not be changed and that presenters are encouraged to concentrate on presenting ideas about their culture that are unusual or that stand out from the rest of the world. This might encourage the other students to play a more active role in the discussion
