Some killers may resuscitate them when their victims when they are close to dying so they can torture them even more. Typically, a serial killer feels the need to dominate and control their victims.
             Serial killers are difficult to identify because of their assimilation into society as normal, productive individuals. Characteristically, they are charming, nicely dressed, polite and courteous individuals. Serial killers are diverse in their roles in society. They can be found as members of churches, mall employees, suburbanites, or walk amongst others in the streets. They are usually knowledgeable as to gaining the trust and confidence of their victims, or how to stalk and methodically plan their attacks. Professionals argue that due to their psychopathic nature, serial killers do not know how to feel sympathy for others. When they are caught serial killers will pretend to suffer from multiple personalities, schizophrenia, or being prone to blackouts - anything that avoids responsibility.
             The triads of criminal behaviour (animal cruelty, fire starting, and bedwetting) are all great indicators of future violence.
