Murcielago vs. Enzo

             With all the sports cars coming out these days, two come to mind as the leaders. The Lamborghini Murcielago, an all-wheel heir to the legendary Diablo. Also, the Ferrari Enzo, a car that brings out the best in Formula 1 and turns it into a street legal rocket. Both of these cars stand out in their class and both give the driver the most comfort and performance imaginable. The Ferrari has proven itself as the leader in comfort, technology, and performance.
             Ferrari and Lamborghini have been around for a long time. Ferrari's founder was Enzo Ferrari. He is a racing legend that built his own racing cars and street cars. Ferrari has been making elite sports cars since the late forties. These cars have been a presence in motor racing along with being a prestigious supercar company. Lamborghini was started by Ferruccio Lamborghini, a wealthy Italian racing enthusiast. At fifteen he started making cars for racing teams. His cars are made in the "Tradition of the Bull". Lamborghini's cars are all named after fighting bulls, which truly represent their power and elegance.
             The names of the Murcielago and the Enzo have significant meanings. The Enzo is titled after the company's founder. This came as a surprise to many. Most thought F60 was going to be the car's name as it is the heir to the F40 and F50 as Ferrari's most exotic car. The name was chosen after long debates as a tribute to the founder. The Murcielago is named after one of the strongest fighting bulls of all time. Murcielago, the bull, had his life spared by his matador during a fight. Murcielago took 24 spears and continued fighting on. He was later given to a breeder. To this day, the bulls from his blood are the best in the world.
